 History
This
beautiful houseboat is a sea boat; it's built after WO2 as a fishing
boat, primarily sailing in the North Sea. Many original
details
still remind of rough winds and huge waves in the past. In the kitchen
one will find several solutions to prevent glasses & cups from
rolling off the shelves, in the bathroom a way to stay dry
even
on the bottom of the sea.

can enjoy wonderful summer nights on the huge sun deck (26m by 6m)...
and bellow decks a romantic living with a separate 2 persons' bed and a
huge lounge bed/sofa, an open kitchen and a bathroom with a bath and
two showers...

Facilities
Wireless
internet, cable TV, DVD player, VHS player, music installation for
tapes and CD's, alarm clock, hair dryer, toaster, water cooker, vacuum
cleaner, iron… are all on board... but if you need anything special,
please let us know.
The
Love houseboat has central heating in winter time and fans for hot
summer days. You can safely drink water from the tab, and watch birds
flying, while having a hot bath. You do not have to bring clean towels
nor sheets with you… and there are plenty of hangers for your clothes.
Please note
Most
houseboats in Amsterdam are river boats, they are flat. This boat is a
'salty water' boat: the living space is ca. 2 meters below decks. The
stairs leading to the living are very safe, but also very steep!
